Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea– The last match of Day 4 of the PacificAus Sports Cricket Invitational saw Vanuatu Women's cricket team hold their nerve to a 9-run victory over Samoa Women's Cricket team, on Thursday 19 June, at Amini Park, Port Moresby.

The Samoan team despite their disciplined bowling led by Olive Lefaga Lemoe (2/14) and Ailaoa Felicia Aoina (1/16), Vanuatu managed to score a competitive total. Samoa Women’s chase got off to a slow start and was consistently pegged back by tight bowling and sharp fielding.
