Update on Isuzu Women’s T20 Smash – Competition Table, Revised Schedule
After the opening weekend of the Isuzu Women’s T20 Smash, four matches have been completed with strong early performances, particularly from the Mariners Women. Despite the washout on Sunday 27 April, the competition has continued with great energy and commitment from all teams. The updated points table after four matches is:
The Mariners Women have made a strong start, leading the table with two wins from two matches. The Cassowaries Women sit second after splitting their opening games, while Black Bass Women and Mudmen Women each have one point from a tied match.
Due to Sunday’s rain, the washed-out matches will now be played on Tuesday 29 April, weather permitting. Round Two matches will commence from Wednesday 30 April to Friday 2 May. The Finals remain scheduled for Saturday 3 May as originally planned. All matches are being played at Amini Park, Port Moresby. The updated schedule is as
Cricket PNG CEO Richard Done said, "Our aim is to see that all teams play each other twice before the finals. If the rain persists, we may revise the schedule again but rest assured Cricket PNG is determined to maximise the cricket played throughout the T20 Smash." Despite the weather challenges, the tournament has already delivered exciting cricket and competitive spirit, with plenty more action still to come.

About Cricket PNG Cricket PNG (CPNG) is the National Sports Federation responsible for the governance, promotion and development of cricket in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
