Cricket PNG welcomes the arrival of Rob Gomm (in Blue) -The ICC East Asia Pacific Region- Acting Development Manager. Gomm’s visit coincides with the finalisation of an exciting and busier ICC Calendar then previously experienced by Cricket PNG for 2023.Details will be shared soon.

Santos funded Oil Search Foundation invited our six (6) remaining Kumul Petroleum Lewas still in PNG, led by Captain Kaia Arua & Santos “I Love Cricket” team to join the 2022 Bel Isi EVAW Walk 2022 in Port Moresby last Friday 25th of November- A date marked annually to by UN’s International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women (EVAW). The EVAW Walk seeks to unite subscribers to the Bel Isi PNG program and raise on-going awareness of violence against men, women, and children in Papua New Guinea a program strongly supported by the NCDC Governor Powes Parkop along with Deputy Governor and Chairman of Motu Koitabu Dadi Toka.  

BSP School Kriket Program ended Term four (4) BLAST with our Game Development team playing host to schools that have participated in the 8Week long course. Major Sponsor BSP’s Corporate Sponsorship Manager- Marketing and Public Relations Amelia Minopu joined Margaret Sibona-Game Development Manager on Wednesday, while on Friday, BSP representatives presented participation gifts to every Under 15 and Under 17 girls and boys who learnt and played the game of cricket at each BSP School Kriket Blast around Papua New Guinea last week.

On behalf of the CPNG Board and myself, we’d like to congratulate our PNG Kumul Petroleum Barramudis Captain Assad Vala on being awarded the player of the series, he continues to lead the way for the Barras.
